London Venues

Event Design That Will Wow Your Guests

Venue choice can make or break and event - we all know that first impressions really do count when it comes to putting on an event. London is known for being crazy, unusual and seriously fab.

There are so many venues that are full with brilliant features and incredible architecture that really add the wow-factor to your event design.

1. Travel around the world at Mr. Foggs

Mr Foggs

Mr.Fogg's takes design to a whole new level at their venue. In every corner of the room there is something to look at and explore. The red, leather chaise and funky ceiling hangings makes at a night out at this bar as fascinating as it is fabulous.

2. Go retro at Drink, Shop & Do

Drink, Shop, Do

A charming cafe by day and lively bar at night, Drink, Shop & Do combines stylish decor with a great food and cocktails. Find your way down the red staircase and you'll get to the bath house Victorian steam room with its stunning vaulted ceiling and original tiles. Venture through the archway to find our DJ booth atop a piano, these retro boom boxes and a dazzling black glitter ball. Cool, huh?

3. Flower power at the Gin Terrace

Flower Power at the Gin Trace

At Swingers you'll find two 9-hole crazy golf courses, street food vendors, five cocktail bars and a two-storey clubhouse. Outrageously fun and beautifully decorated, the Gin Terrace is our favourtie spot. Surrounded by vines, climbing plants and foliage, the space is perfect for a tipple and a view of the Lighthouse Course.

4. The staircase at The Queen's House

The Queen's House staircase

The Queen's House is known for its striking beauty, including the original black-and-white marble floor and this stunning Tulip Staircase. The high ceiling of the Great Hall also features a magnificent contemporary work in gold leaf by Turner Prize-winning artist Richard Wright.

5. This cow in formaldehyde at Hix Tramshed

Cow in Formaldehyde

You'll find Tramshed in a former East End tram-generator building in the heart of Shoreditch. Known for its menu of  Swainson House Farm chicken and Glenarm Estate beef, the space is also famous for its Cock 'n' Bull installation by Damien Hirst, which features a cock and a bull in formaldehyde, suspended above the restaurant - your guests won't forget that in a hurry.

6. This boxing kangaroo at Zetter Townhouse

The boxing kangaroo

Zetter Townhouse is bursting with souvenirs from Wilhelmina's travels, vintage vases and of course a stuffed kangaroo in boxing gloves. It's a brilliant venue for dinners for all occasions, but honestly our favourite feature is the kangaroo.
