Watch out Londoners, the creators of Bounce and Puttshack have just reached a whole new level of awesome. They’re opening the world’s first immersive bingo experience in Shoreditch! And, with this unusual venue available for private hire, it’s ready and waiting to inject a bit of ‘wow-factor’ into your party, product launch, team away day or (if you really want to rock the boat) conference.
We know, we know, you’re thinking ‘since when did bingo become cool?’ The answer is most definitely now. Intrigued? You should be!
Here are 5 ways that Hijingo will blow your mind.
1. Lights, camera, action!
Bingo and production value aren’t known for going hand in hand. But this isn’t just any old bingo hall! Hijingo’s immersive bingo experience is being produced by world-class talent who previously produced shows for the likes of Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. And the production value is through the roof.
We’re talking an immersive 360° sound system, stadium-grade lighting and LED technology. In fact, we’re talking all the emotional intensity of a West End musical with the energy of a TV game show and the production value of a rock concert.
2. The future is here
The future is here. Or at least, it will be when you set foot in Hijingo, which has been designed around the concept of a ‘futuristic nightlife utopia’.
That means neon lights, Tokyo-inspired patterned fabrics and vivid murals. And as if that wasn’t enough to make you go 'wow', the design has also been influenced by the film Blade Runner! You’ll have to see it to believe it.
3. Games of chance
Sorry to all of you avid bingo players, but we have to say it - bingo (or 'hijingo') is a game of chance. In fact, there is zero skill required! And each player can win up to six times during a Hijingo session. Are you thinking what we’re thinking…?
Bingo is a shared social experience where prior experience counts for nothing - everyone’s in with a chance to win, and win big.
4. Master builders
Hijingo is the brainchild of Adam Breeden (the man behind the company that created Bounce and Puttshack) and James Gordon (bingo aficionado and Rebel Bingo co-founder). Between the two of them, they have all the knowledge of bingo and experiential socialising they need to create what could be the most incredible bingo experience the world has ever seen!
5. A feast from the east
All that anticipation could get you peckish. So, it’s lucky Hijingo will offer two cocktail bars as well as a menu of snacks, bites and small plates. But, true to form, these aren't just any old drinks and snacks. Instead, theirs is an original selection inspired by the Far East. Our mouths are watering already.
Has Hijingo blown your mind yet? Good, because it opens on the 16th March! Get in touch with our venue experts to find out more about hosting your event in this unique venue (we know you want to).
