Every fortnight, on Wednesdays at 11am, we hold a live stream discussion titled 'The Fortnight In Review', where we bring together industry leaders to discuss the latest coronavirus news and events industry responses.
In the third episode of the series, Simon Hughes, the new Chairman of the BVEP, and Richard Groves, Director at SMART Group, discussed how the latest government measures affect the meetings and events industry, and what events businesses should be focused on now to prepare. Conference News Magazine also streamed the discussion.
This session coincided with the publication of the White Paper on Safer Events, the industry accreditation scheme for venues and events organisers. Venues can apply to be accredited as a Safer Venue here, and events organisers can apply to have their events certified here.
We also took several questions from our listeners via our social media channels. You can watch the full session below.
We hope you enjoyed the third episode of our fortnightly live stream series. If you want to recap on the first two episodes, you can watch them here, as well as read our latest pieces around coronavirus.
Why not add the live stream to your Outlook Calendar or your Google Calendar so you never miss an episode!
