Between 20th September and 2nd November, Rugby fans across the world will unite as they cheer on the teams participating in the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. Luckily, for all you rugby fanatics out there that weren't able to make the trip, Japan House is hosting 'Rugby Live' for the duration of the World Cup.
In case you didn't know, Japan House is the cultural home of Japan in London; an initiative set up by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Throughout the Rugby World Cup there will be live showings at Japan House - the perfect backdrop for corporate entertainment and networking sessions.
Relax in one of the three distinct spaces available: The Hall, The Tatami, and The Library. Each space is minimalist, and echoes the vibe that many associate with Japanese interiors, allowing you to enjoy Japanese cuisine as you watch the matches unfold live on the ultra-high definition 4 metre by 2 metre screen.
Japan House has partnered with Country City Catering for bespoke dishes like Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette for breakfast, Okonomiyaki inspired bubble & squeak for lunch and Matcha Brûlée for dessert.
Firstly, The Library is an ideal pop-up venue - an intimate space that holds up to 20 people. Meetings, workshops, talks, and tastings all work particularly well in this room, where you can relax with colleagues and watch the World Cup. Again, there is the iconic minimalist design, with white walls and simple furniture that helps you to easily make the space your own.
Then you have The Hall - a flexible, multi-purpose space that is situated on the lower levels of the venue. Minimalism reigns supreme again, with bright white walls and exposed industrial ceilings, providing a flexible blank canvas for any event. The retractable seating means that no one will miss the sporting action, which consists of much more than just rugby. A plethora of events can be hosted in this space, from conferences, to live performances and film screenings. To top it all off, there's room for 130 people standing, and 100 people as dinner guests.
Japan House is the perfect place for your next corporate event, and with the Rugby World Place being held in Japan - there is no better time to visit. Contact a venue expert and enquire about the packages available from September 2019.
