White Christmas: 7 Romantic Winter Wedding Venues

'Tis the season for proposals, so once you've stopped hyperventilating with excitement, it's time to think about the venue. As an extra-special Christmas treat we've chosen seven of the most romantic venues in and around London for a wedding you won't forget.

This venue is home to a breathtakingly vast, pillar-less room with soaring heights of 5.8m (19ft) and an expansive floor space to host receptions for up to 800 people, 700 seated or 336 cabaret. The Londoner offers 350 exquisite bedrooms and suites, each with their own unique views of London. Discover a collection of restaurants and bars, including alfresco dining on the ground floor, a rooftop bar, a magnificent ballroom, private meeting and event spaces, an urban spa experience, and two Odeon Luxe screening theatres.

2. The Hurlingham Club

The Hurlingham Club

Nestled in 42 acres of landscaped gardens and lawns overlooking the Thames, the Hurlingham Club is a Georgian country house with magnificent event space, in a green oasis in the heart of Fulham. The Terrace Room is a self-contained area suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions. For a larger wedding, the Terrace can be seamlessly joined to the larger Quadrangle room, creating the perfect situation to separate out a drinks reception or dancing area, and a wedding dinner area.

3. The Ned

The Ned

The Ned is a new lifestyle hotel with distinctive personality, combining the attention to detail and service of a boutique hotel with grand proportions. The Ned can accommodate wedding celebrations of a range of sizes with the largest space, The Tapestry room, accommodating dinners up to 120 guests. Its walnut panelling and chandeliers are also original, adding to the grandeur of any special occasion.

4. 41 Portland Place

You’ll find Andaz, a five-star boutique hotel, in the heart of the city on Liverpool Street. 1901 Restaurant at Andaz was once the Great Eastern Hotel’s original ballroom and makes a beautiful setting for a wedding. With Grade-II listed architecture and a stained-glass dome, it’s an elegant space that can accommodate up to 120 guests.

6. RSA House

RSA House

RSA House is a charming Georgian House in the heart of London's West End.
