2021 saw some gorgeous new venue openings, including Covent Garden's NoMad Hotel, Leicester Square's The Londoner, and the much-anticipated Pan Pacific, each with their own unique spaces for events. But this year looks set to push the bar even higher, and we've searched high and low to find the best spots in town! Below you'll find our favourite new venue openings in London for 2022.

LaLaLand London
Once the site of beloved food hall Dinerama, LaLaLand London is stepping up to the plate and is looking to serve up a seriously gorgeous event setting! From wings to bao to Indian burgers, this urban oasis features delectably different food and drink options from 21 of the best vendors across the City. The sprawling 25,000 sqft venue also has 9 bars as well as fire pits, a living wall, waterfall, and even a plunge pool! What better way to soak up the sun than listening to live DJs and enjoying the culinary delights of laid-back LaLaLand.

Hire Space Highlight: We love the aesthetic of this edgy Shoreditch venue. Palm trees, plants, and retro tropical vibes galore in this urban jungle!

Convene
Looking for a luxurious setting to take your corporate meetings and conferences to the next level? NYC-based office space company Convene is launching its first UK addition to their portfolio. Based at 22 Bishopsgate and a stone's throw from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations, Convene is an uber-cool plant-laden conference and event space in the heart of the City offering built-in tech, furniture, catering, and staffing, as well as full-time event staff, for up to 400 delegates.

Best for: Hybrid events including conferences, client meetings, team away days, strategy days
Hire Space Highlight: Trendy yet luxe interior and tech innovation is at the forefront of Convene's mission, so expect a seamless high-end experience from start to finish. Plus they offer unlimited snacks and drinks, so there's that.

The Reveller Tower Of London
The Reveller is a brand new outdoor space located on the Wharf, next to the iconic Tower Bridge. Serving some seriously spectacular views across the river and our iconic London skyline, this is a unique and accessible space ideal for large groups of up to 300 guests to enjoy. You could even pair this with other venues around the Tower to create a seamless transition from conference to reception, for example.

Best for: Gala dinners, summer parties, award ceremonies, networking receptions
Hire Space Highlight: A retractable marquee roof, in case the good old British weather decides to throw a spanner in the works!

One Hundred Shoreditch
Previously the Ace Hotel, this brand sparkling new hotel promises to be Shoreditch's Next Big Thing. Boasting 258 rooms and six restaurants and bars including a British Seafood restaurant with a BIG focus on ethically and locally-sourced produce, this venue is hot on sustainability and aims to offer 'headspace and calm from the buzz of Shoreditch'.
There are 5 meeting and events spaces here, each with floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering glorious panoramic views across the city, along with the venue's signature interior aesthetic of pink marble, Scandi-inspired wooden panelling, and plenty of foliage.

Best for: Meetings, retreats, away days, drinks receptions, upmarket corporate dinners

New South London Venues
Art'otel Battersea
The latest in the swanky Battersea Power Station development, Art'otel's latest project is a luxury 'lifestyle' hotel with contemporary, creative architecture fused with cosmopolitan luxury, powered by Radisson Hotels. Featuring 160 rooms each with breathtaking views, a rooftop pool and bar, exquisite gardens, as well as a restaurant and bar with wraparound views of the Power Station, this hotel is going to be a stunning addition to the development. Plus, with the brand new tube station near by, accessing the Power Station is an absolute breeze.

Bounce Battersea
Another addition to the iconic Power Station development, interactive ping pong venue Bounce has become the latest venue to sign up. Their Battersea venue, set in the original power station building, will be over 8,000 sqft, boasting 11 gaming areas, a cocktail bar, delicious food, and even a private room!

New West London Venues
Outernet London
The Now Building at Outernet London is a brand new immersive venue situated opposite Tottenham Court Road station. Boasting a capacity of up to 2000 across 4 levels, this tech-driven venue is decked out with 360 degree 8k screens with 4D & interactive capabilities, as well as the world's largest high-res wrap-around screens. Not to mention the futuristic decor and exterior! This cool, modern take on an events space means eventprofs can take their events to a new level and immerse their attendees in a whole new world.
There's no doubt that this will be a seriously impressive events space for creative eventprofs to flourish.

New Central London Venues
Raffles at the OWO
Ok, brace yourselves for this one. Raffles, with all its opulent, old-Hollywood glamour, is set to open a brand new addition to its portfolio in none other than the Old War Office Building in Whitehall. This iconic baroque building in the heart of the capital has housed countless historic household names and now it is set to house London's latest ultra-luxe hotel. Features include 120 luxury suites, 85 residences (some rumoured to be worth a cool £100 mil), a spa, ballroom, and 11 restaurants, including one on the rooftop, offering incredible city views.
Decadent interior elements such as mosaic floors, chandeliers and a marble staircase have been lovingly restored, resulting in a truly opulent experience the minute you step foot through the door. Coupled with Raffles' signature charm and impeccable hospitality, it's no surprise this venue is one of the most hotly-anticipated openings this year.

Wyld
Filling the footsteps of many an upmarket nightclub before it, Wyld is the new kid on the block on the site next to the Hilton Park Lane. Able to welcome up to 300 attendees, this elite party spot offers something a little different than we'd expect - it's London's first ecologically sustainable nightclub. Whilst you'll experience all the usual trappings in the form of VIP clientele, pumping music, expertly-crafted cocktails and space to let loose, there is a nature-loving theme running throughout, with plenty of plants and an LED tree taking centre-stage.

Best for: Exclusive parties, receptions, brand activations, launch parties
Hire Space Highlight: This isn't just any old club, this is an exclusive spot perfect for high-end clients and stakeholders (or maybe the odd CEO post-conference?)

The Chancery Rosewood
Ok, so we're cheating a little with this one. Technically, the Rosewood Hotel Group's latest London installment won't be ready until 2024, but it's so pretty we had to include it. Proudly housed in the former US Embassy in Grosvenor Square, this prestigious Grade II listed building is being transformed into an ultra-luxe hotel with 139 rooms, 5 restaurants and bars, wellbeing centre, 6 retail spaces, and meeting and event spaces, including a vast 1000-pax ballroom. We're looking forward to seeing this for ourselves!

Opening: 2024 (sorry!)
Ocean Diva
Last but most certainly not least, arguably the most unique new venue coming to London this year is SMART Group's latest offering, the spectacular Ocean Diva.
Set to be the first carbon neutral event vessel on the River Thames, this revolutionary blank canvas venue (which is longer than a plane) can welcome up to 1,500 attendees across 3 decks for any kind of event you want. Modern, sleek, sophisticated... oh and you can also land a helicopter on the boat too. You know, for those really important VIPs.

Best for: Conferences, award ceremonies, parties, dinners... literally any event you host on Ocean Diva will be incredible. (And yes that's our professional opinion!)
